About the Event
On March 19 we will celebrate St. Joseph. We can say Joseph was a man of discernment. Discernment as an art of living in the Holy Spirit. “When one has acquired a certainty of the taste of God, and the thoughts that come from Him and lead to Him, one has come to an attitude of discernment” (Cf Fr Marko Ivan Rupnick in his book “Discernment, Acquiring the Heart of God, p 28)
During this retreat on discernment, we will explore an Ignatian framework for making decisions and we will go over some key elements of discernment.
In the episode where Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind (John 9: 1-41) we will find some more insights on discernment
If there is interest for the Ignatian Rules of Discernment of Spirits, we will address this in future retreats
