RCYA Canoe Weekend

Regnum Christi Young Adults is organizing a one night canoeing adventure on the beautiful Magnetawan River. For this trip, we will depart Oakville at 7am, drive to the Harris Lake Marina, pick up our 5 rented canoes, put in and canoe for roughly 4 hours up to the Magnetawan River, and set up camp along the river at one of the designated, first-come-first-serve campsites. There we'll enjoy nature, sing, pray, cook, swim and play. We will have Saturday Mass and Sunday Mass on camp. Shared tents will be available and food and cooking supplies will be packed by the organizers. Each participant will need to bring their own clothes, toiletries and sleeping gear. On Sunday we'll return in the afternoon, and plan to be back in Oakville by 10pm. Since parking is paid at the Marina, we'll carpool in 3 cars for the drive up and back. More packing details…
