Fr. Schu grew up on a small farm in southwestern Minnesota, the second of seven children. He entered the congregation of the Legionaries of Christ in 1982 and was ordained a priest in 1994. He is author of The Splendor of Love, on Saint John Paul II' s theology of the body. Currently, Fr. Schu serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative Studies at Divine Mercy University.
