Over a dozen married couples gathered on Saturday, May 9th at Holy Rosary Parish in Milton, ON to celebrate their marriage. Fr. Peter Tuyen, the pastor of Holy Rosary, led the couples through their renewal of vows during the vigil Mass. Afterwards, the couples proceeded to the parish hall which had been transformed into a romantic wedding banquet. The couples were seated at their table for two while enjoying the sound of violin played by the talented Lucy Warren. Dinner was served very professionally by the young ladies in the Challenge Girls Club, joined by the president and one club member of the Conquest Boys club. This event provides an extraordinary experience for these young people as they witness couples celebrating their marriage. The love and joy was apparent on the couple’s faces as they enjoyed dinner and inspirational talks given by Joe and Paola Paventi, and Fr. Peter Tuyen.
After dinner, Lucy Warren continued to gift the couples with her talented violin playing while they each in turn took pictures at the cake table. The two tier cake provided by Lisa Cacace, who also attended the event with her husband.
